ADDISON, Texas (January 3, 2012) - Mullis Newby Hurst, L.P., (MNH), one of the largest writers of construction insurance and surety bonds in the Southwest, recently hired Scott Stagner as a vice president to produce insurance and surety accounts. The 55-year old manager moved to MNH from Allied North America Insurance Brokerage of Texas, LLC/Aon Risk Services.

New Risks Develop As Green Building Projects Expand
Sustainability is the new buzzword among building and design professionals as several trade and interest groups have established certifications for companies to show they're green, but the projects carry some risks.

Taylor, Orlando, Fla.-based managing director of Aon Corp.'s environmental services group. “There was a point where everyone was rushing to become sustainable, but the economic downturn forced people to find ways to survive rather than becoming sustainable.
